These elections to be held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry are considered to decide the direction of national politics for the next year. In which states can voting take place in how many phases?

Sources are saying that the biggest and most challenging elections will be held in West Bengal. Considering the security, sensitive area and crores of voters, voting can be held here in 3 to 4 phases (in 2021 there were 8 phases, this time it is planned to have fewer).

There is a possibility of 2 phases in Assam. Whereas preparations are going on to hold elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry in a single phase. This decision is being taken keeping in mind the security, weather and schedule of examinations.
